At River of Life, we believe the mission begins at home and extends across the world. From serving our local community to partnering with global ministries, we’re committed to sharing the love of Jesus in both word and action. Our focus in missions is built on three pillars: Support, Serve, and Send—supporting ongoing ministries, serving hands-on where needs exist, and sending people wherever God calls. Whether it’s a service project down the street or a trip across the ocean, we follow His leading to bring hope, help, and the message of Christ to a world in need.

Lake Orono Skatepark Outreach

The Lake Orono Skate Park Outreach is a local mission focused on building genuine relationships with youth and adults in Elk River by showing up consistently, creating a welcoming space, and sharing the love and truth of Jesus through real conversations. In a culture full of noise, this team offers something authentic—listening well, forming friendships, and opening doors to meaningful spiritual connection. Through simple acts of hospitality like grilling food and spending time together, we’re creating an environment where faith can grow naturally.

We’re looking for a small, intentional, multigenerational team to help lead, connect, and serve in ways that fit your strengths. Join us in making a real impact outside the church walls—meeting people where they are and being part of what God is doing in our community.The outreach events will take place on May 29, Jun 26, Jul 24, Aug 21, and Sep 18 from 4:30-7:30pm.

Hunt, Texas Mission Trip

You're invited to join us November 29–December 5 for a powerful mission trip to Hunt, Texas as we come alongside families to rebuild hope after devastating floods. Through hands-on projects, relational ministry, prayer, and local outreach, we’ll serve as the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need. Whether you have construction experience or simply a willing heart, all ages and skill levels are welcome. Come grow in your faith, serve alongside others, and help bring hope and restoration to the community of Hunt. Total cost for the trip is $1100/person. Registration closes on June 27!
