At River of Life, we’re passionate about helping kids grow in their faith and become fully devoted followers of Jesus. We believe the Holy Spirit is at work in children of all ages, and we strive to create a vibrant, engaging environment where they can encounter God’s love, grace, and truth in a real way. Through Bible teaching, worship, small groups, and fun activities, we guide kids to understand who God is and how much He loves them. Our goal is to plant seeds of faith that will grow into a lasting, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We’re honored to partner with families on this journey and excited to see what God will do in the lives of your children.

Sundays

Every Sunday at 9:00 + 10:45AM, all children (infants through grade 5)
During Kids Church, nursery children are prayed over while they play and listen to worship music, Pre-K kids (ages 3–5) enjoy free play and learn Bible stories through crafts and games, and elementary students (K–5) gather for worship and engaging Bible lessons through fun, age-appropriate activities.

Wednesdays

Wednesday Nights, September-May
Each Wednesday from 6:30–8:15PM, kids come together for worship, Bible lessons, prayer, games, and crafts. You’re welcome to join anytime during the year — the small registration fee helps cover weekly snacks.

Join Our Serve Team
We are always looking for people who love to work with kids! Youth (6th grade and older) are also welcome to serve! We have openings on both Sundays and Wednesdays for classroom leaders, subs, check in help and more. Sign up here and someone will connect with you soon!

VBS

Join us for VBS July 28th-31st from 6:00-8:15PM for the best week of the summer! We are going to learn to Live it Out for Jesus! If you are a kid between the age of 4 years old through just finished 5th grade, we want you to join us as we have a blast learning Bible stories, playing games, doing crafts, having snacks, and worshipping together! This is a FREE event! Registration closes on July 25!

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect on my first visit?

When you arrive at River of Life, stop by the Family Check-In area where a staff member or volunteer will help get your family registered and print your child’s nametag. If your child doesn’t have a Bible, we’d love to give them one! We’ll give you a quick tour of the kids area and walk your child to their age-appropriate room. All our volunteers are background checked and love working with kids — we can’t wait to meet you!

On your following visit, you will self check in on one of our ipads using your last name or phone number.

How do you prioritize safety?
Safety is our number one priority in Kids Ministry. Every adult that serves in Kid’s Ministry is required to have a background check completed every 2 years. We have annual volunteer training where we discuss mandated reporting, and our leaders are trained in weather-related emergency situations as well as lockdowns. We have an amazing security team that is also available to leaders if needed and who monitor the kid’s area during programming.
My child has special needs. What steps are taken to make your environments inclusive?
We believe that all kids, including those with unique and special needs, can grow in God’s loving family. Our ministry strives to provide an inclusive, gospel-centered environment for children of all abilities and needs.
