Small Groups

Find Your People. Grow Your Faith.
At River of Life we believe that transformation happens in circles not rows. That is what small groups are all about; where life on life, authentic faith is carried out. Statistically, one of the best ways to grow spiritually is to have 4 to 7 Christian friends in your church who do life with you, challenge you, and encourage you in your faith. We hope these groups help you develop those friendships. This includes our men’s, women’s, and young adults’ Bible studies, care groups, in-home groups studying a variety of topics, interest groups, and our brand new connect groups.

Traditional Groups

These small groups meet weekly in homes or at the church to grow in faith and build meaningful relationships. Each group spends time studying God’s Word together—often working through a variety of Bible studies, topical series, or video-based discussions. Whether you’re new to church or have been walking with Christ for years, small groups are a great way to connect, ask questions, and encourage one another in everyday life.

Connect Groups

Connect Groups are a specific type of River of Life Church small group. Connect group participants will share a meal together, discuss last week’s sermon, and pray for one another. These Connect Groups meet in homes every other week and are open to everyone!

Interest Groups

This type of small group is based on meeting with a group of people with one shared interest. Whether that’s men’s basketball, painting, baking, book club or fishing – we are sure there are others at River of Life who are seeking to have community with people who share an interest.

We’re excited to give you free access to RightNow Media, a wonderful library of video resources for all ages from churches and pastors all across the country, to help you develop and grow as a disciple of Jesus. Streaming directly to your smart TV, Roku, computer, tablet, or mobile device, you’ll find the online Bible Study Library includes relevant content for every age group or spiritual season.

You can search by category, topic, or speaker. Additionally, many of the series have direct links to workbooks and leader guides.
